Hotel Punta Pina is a small hotel, part of Residence Villa Mare, just 50 metres from Bagnaia beach, a peaceful spot in the Gulf of Portoferraio, right opposite the town of Cosimo de’ Medici and Napoleon, and overlooked by Volterraio Castle, an ancient Etruscan fortress never conquered over the centuries, which watches silently over the whole bay from its rocky outcrop.
The hotel has access to all the residence’s facilities, including reception and the bar, where you can enjoy a great breakfast every morning.
There’s also a wonderful, spacious terrace, perfect for taking in the view over Portoferraio’s old walls and, come evening, the stunning multicoloured sunsets guests always remember. On the first floor, a smaller covered terrace, fully furnished with sea views, is also always available to guests.
Inside, there’s a cosy little reading room: plenty of books guests can pick up and enjoy during their stay, perhaps out on the terrace, taking in the view between the sea and the silhouette of Volterraio.
